Yeehaw! It is officially rodeo time in Livermore, California.
Every June you can expect all the cowboys and cowgirls to load up their horse trailers and make their way out to Robertson Park for “The World’s Fastest Rodeo”.
Throughout the rodeo, you will see events such as Bareback, Tie Down Roping, Local Team Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, Wild Cow Milking, Steer Wrestling, PRCA Team Roping, Barrel Racing and Bull Riding.

Let’s Rodeo
The PRCA Rodeo takes place on Saturday, June 10th and Sunday, June 11th with various events taking place daily. Gates open daily at 11:00 a.m. This is the perfect time to enjoy food, beverages and all of the vendors before the rodeo starts. Grand Entry (start of the rodeo) begins at 3:00 p.m. both days.
This is such a great time for our community to come together and celebrate our hometown rodeo. The weather is going to be perfect, so what better way to spend your weekend that at the rodeo.
A Week of Events
Here is a little breakdown of the events leading up to the rodeo:
41st Annual Mixer and Team Branding
On Wednesday, June 7th, featuring Team Branding, live music and a Tri Tip BBQ dinner. Children are NOW permitted to attend this event. This event is located at the Robertson Park Rodeo Arena. Gates open at 5:00 p.m.
Local Event Slack
On Thursday, June 8th, starting at 6 pm. Free Admission. No food or beverages sold.
Pro Rodeo Slack
On Friday, June 9th, featuring top performers throughout the PRCA. FREE Admission! This event is located at the Robertson Park Rodeo Arena at 8:00 a.m.
Cowgirl Luncheon ** SOLD OUT
On Friday, June 9th, the Cowgirl Luncheon will be held from noon-three p.m. This is a lunch brought to you by the Livermore Rodeo Foundation recognizing local scholarship recipients and this years cowgirl honoree. Lunch includes choices of Hors D’oeuvres, steak or chicken along with sides. A silent auction will be held. Tickets are available for purchase in advance.
Livermore Rodeo Parade
On Saturday, June 10th, Join the Livermore Rotary club for the annual Livermore Rodeo Parade on Second Street in Downtown Livermore Saturday morning of the rodeo ( Starts at 10 am)! Fun for the whole family.
Livermore Rodeo DAY 1 ** Tough Enough to Wear Pink Day
Saturday at the rodeo is “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” day. Gates open at 11 A.M and Grand Entry starts at 3 P.M. Grand entry is the start of the rodeo featuring Livermore Rodeo Stagecoaches, rodeo personnel, sponsor flags, the Livermore Rodeo Queens, and visitng Queens, as well as the previous years’ Queen presenting the American Flag.
TETWP: Show your support of Breast Cancer Research by wearing PINK on Saturday! Purchase a “Give Cancer the Boot” lapel pin from the TETWP booth to help fund Cancer Research. Stay tuned for more information.
Livermore Rodeo Day 2 ** Patriot Day, wear Red or Blue
Sunday at the rodeo is “Patriot Day”. Show your support of our service men and women by wearing RED or BLUE.
Lil Pardners Rodeo: Get to the grounds early to watch the special needs children partake in a mock rodeo. Show your support and cheer on the youngsters from the grandstands.
