The holidays are here, family and friends are coming into town and we have the perfect last minute outings planned for you right here in the Tri-Valley.

Make a whole night out of it and hit all three houses or just pick one to go to over the next couple days. These three make the holidays so happy, bright, and special. You don’t want to miss it!

From all of us at PassinGrass Delivery, happy holidays!

Casa Del Pomba

Casa Del Pomba, also known as “Deacon Daves” is located at 352 Hillcrest Avenue in Livermore and has been running a massive light display for the last 39 years.

Deacon Dave said “I use to decorate the inside of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, and I decided I want to do something above and beyond so that people of all faiths, or no faith, could enjoy a display,” ( Mercury News).

Observers come from all over to see what Deacon Dave himself has added to his display each year. Last year there were 712,000 lights and this year he topped that.

I’ll give you a hint, it’s over 750,000. I spoke to Deacon Dave myself just the other night and he said next year his goal is to hit the 800,000 light mark.

Lights turn on at approx. 5:55 PM and entry begins at 6 pm. Prepare for long lines and dress warm. The house next door sells hot coco if you are interested in a tasty treat.

Sunday thru Thursday: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Friday & Saturday:  6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Display closes January 1st at 9 a.m.
